I am a designer and HCI researcher interested in how people come to understand themselves through technology, the body and the spaces they live in.

I am a PhD student at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. My research focuses on how self-perceptions of aging can be understood and operationalized in HCI research and design. Before my PhD, I designed for accessibility and wayfinding. Alongside it, I keep a drawing and installation practice.
